Friday Night Paninni

Here's our dinner for Friday night, when I said I would cook paninni using a baguette, my bride offered to go to the store at 7:pM to buy the real thing.

Paninni bread.

Melted 1/4 cup of butter and added 1 tsp granulated garlic to spread on the bread.

Chopped up some of the chuck roll we smoked, fresh tomato slices and Mozz, Gruyere, Parmesan cheeses.

And to have my BBQ card punched, ...cooked on the Genesis, wrapped two fire bricks in foil for the press.

And voilà, grilled paninni, bride and niece said they were much better that what can be bought here, ...nice strokes after a long, hard week.

Thanks all for the kind words, as we drove around the island today, for the 10,000th time, my bride mentioned they only sold ham paninnis, would it be possible to make a chicken paninni too? Since we have three buns left, chicken paninni (and why not cordon bleu) goes into this weeks rotation.
