Normally we try to go out for Friday fish fry. (its a Wisconsin thing) But, we have been trying to eat healthier, so deep fried perch is probably not the best thing for you..... So, here is my version of Friday fish not fried.

Got some cod. When we were at the store, I grabbed some fresh dill - cod drizzled with minced onion and chopped dill - potato foily - red taters sliced, minced onion, chopped dill, smooshed garlic. Brussel sprouts and asparagus, olive oiled and seasoned - turned out awesome -
















 
Good stuff, well executed fish and a nice selection of sides. Bet you didn't miss the deep-fried too much
 
That is one great looking Cod cook!!! No offense to your cook but fried Perch, I'm there. I haven't had Perch in probably over 20 years!!!
 
Nice work! Were did you get those cedar boards from and how many cook can you get out of them?

They are a one shot deal, no reuse. I buy mine at a kinda local farm type store, kinda like a tractor supply company store,but , I am just going to cut my own from now on. I thought there was something special about 'cedar planks' ....nope. Just cedar - cut to lengths and fancy packaging.
