Friday night filets

Last week I made steaks in the oven and cast iron. I was told I owe you guys some Weber grilled steaks. So here ya go...

I started with 2 6oz filets.


I cooked them until they hit about 115 degrees F then I moved them over to some searing heat. I should have taken the steaks off of the grill to let it heat up more, but it worked well enough. Here are the steaks getting happy.



Plated with oven roasted potatoes tossed with rosemary and olive oil at the end and grilled romaine:


My wife made brownies from scratch, so that was dessert (I requested a small piece):


Of course, I needed an after dinner drink:
