Flood Waters Have Receded, Time To Cook

It's been a lot of fun in the Houston area over the past few days. Flooding, schools closed, work not closed. The rains stopped long enough for me to fire up the Performer today. Tandoori pork, taters, shrooms and sweet taters.

Our house earlier this week.

Weber's Tandoori seasoning on a pork loin.

Filling the grill.

All done.

Thanks for looking.

Good looking cook! How do you rate the Weber Tandoori seasoning?

It was really good. I did it as a dry rub, next time I am going to put some olive oil on the meat first. I think I am going to try and add it to some coconut milk and simmer some chicken and veggies in it, then dump it over some rice.

Nice looking house you got there, i hope there was no damage to it with the flooding.
Your cook looks great, have to give the Tandoori seasoning a try.

Flooding a few years ago in town, some people know how to take advantage of it.;)

Hope the flooding didn't impact you too badly Pat. Been following all that on line. Looks like a delicious meal. Might give that seasoning a try.

We didn't get any water in the house. I am an insurance agent, so work has been a little hectic. No worries though, been through this many times.

Glad to hear that you didn't get any water in you house, your daughter looks like she is having fun in her rain gear....priceless.

Thanks for the recommendation. Looking forward to trying it. To return the favor, I tried Weber's Carne Asada seasoning last night and it's a real winner too.
