Had a buddy over last Saturday and we cooked up some baby back ribs. I did Bad Byron's Butt Rub, and he used his own rub he dubbed "Gun Powder"
Here they are on the 22.5"wsm. Used mesquite for smoke and shot for 250°.
6hrs total cook time.

These turned out really good! Nice smoke ring, tender and moist. Cleaned off the bone very nice, and not to much smoke. The wsm ran like a champ too. Nothing in the pan but some foil.
Well, thanks for looking! See ya next cook.

Great looking ribs! Which did you guys prefer? How about a recipe for 'gun powder'...

Regards,

John

Both were quite tasty, but I think I preferred The Bad Byron's Butt Rub ribs. Gun powder is my buddy's recipe, so I'm not at liberty to disclose that information at this time. It was good, but it really brings the heat!

Really Nice ribs!! And cook!! I did BB ribs for my first rib cook on the 22 WSM. Mine were smaller :(, I fit three of them on the top grate with room to spare. They also took about six hours...
