First Pulled Beef

That looks great. What kind of rub did you use?

Since this was my first pulled chuck and didn't want to spend much time on it, It just has olive oil and Grill Mates Montreal Steak Seasoning. I was just going to do a salt and pepper rub but the GM had that and extra spice I wanted. Tasted GRATE.

Looks really good!

You might try a pepper stout beef next time. It's known as a PSB around here. Larry Wolfe's recipe (do a search). same style of beef cook.
Here is mine from a while back: http://tvwbb.com/showthread.php?45241-Pepper-Stout-Beef-SOLD-OUT!-(Thanks-again-Larry-Wolfe)&highlight=wolfe

Yeah, I saw your pepper stout beef post, AWSOME. But since this was my first one and didn't know it'd is like it, I didn't want to spend a lot of time on it, therefore the simple cook. Btw, I found I really like pulled beef.

That looks really, really delicious! and bet it was! Great cook Nate! Can you share your cooking method on this? I really want to try this. Thanks in advance!

Fantastic looking PB Nate. You're going to have a lot of mighty fine sandwiches and meals.

Ha. I wish I had enough left over for a lot of fine sandwiches/meals. I think my wife and I picked at this to the point there isnt much left. It was that delicious. Next time, I'm cookin more.

Thanks. My cook method is the same as I do pulled pork. So, if you've done pulled pork, you probably already know how to do this. WTS, I really wanted to cook at 225* for the whole time. Instead, I cooked it at 250*. When it hit 160*, it stalled for what seemed forever. It was getting late and its a "school night" so I foiled it with a splash of beer, and cranked the heat up to 300*. I pulled it at 200* IT.
