Hopefully, this will be a first of many! I'll upload pictures after its all said and done.

On the SJS tonight...

Bite sized Yukon Golds, marinated in vegetable oil, Lawry's Seasoned Salt, Garlic Powder, and some black pepper, grilled in a 5" cast iron pan (first time with this)
Grilled zucchini and yellow squash, rubbed in home made Caribbean jerk rub.
Grilled red peppers
Grilled "Western Griller" Steak. Apparently this thing sucks, but it was cheap and I wanted to test it out. Havent put it on the grill yet, we shall see...

On the list in the future is a Performer Platinum. Smokey Joe ain't cuttin it anymore with all this stuff on it.

I marinated the steaks in a homemade...something..for 24 hours. Honestly I had a bit too much to drink last night and can't remember what exactly went into the marinade! Tasted good though.

Potato's on the grill first, preheated the CI for 10 minutes or so. Put some bacon grease in there as well, seemed to be the right thing to do!

Then came the veggies. Peppers went on as they were, zucchini and yellow squash had the Caribbean Jerk rub. I used most of that rub on three chicken breasts, which will be for tomorrow, cooked on my Q-120. The rub is AMAZING!

Steaks after they were grilled. Cooked for 2 minutes a side, give or take a few seconds...

Had to unload the potatoes into another dish, couldn't move the CI off with my oven mitt, way too hot. Have to upgrade to welding gloves I think.

Plated, some sharp cheddar for the potatoes (had no sour cream on hand, travesty!) and some blue cheese crumbles for the steak.

Shows the cook stage of the steak. IMO, I won't buy the western griller again. Nothing could save this steak. Its just too tough. However, the marinade is top notch, will be using it again. I need a bigger grill, no way around it.

Nice looking cook Andrew! Yes, welding gloves do help with the CI skillets, but
they still get very hot! I usually have a stainless tray that I put the skillet on once
it is removed from the grill which makes it a lot easier to carry.
