Been wanting to try this for a while. Ground up Beef, Pork, & Bacon. Added Cheese & Jalapenos. After several Fails I decided I needed a Stuffer so I ordered one. I’ll try again when the Stuffer comes in. Made a Coconut Pie for Consolation!!

Hey, Kemper, you did way better on your first attempt than I did with mine!!! :) Yeah, a vertical, piston stuffer really makes things easier. I like your combo of ingredients. How did they taste??

R

Need to improve on the taste. Just ok
After you mixed everything (thoroughly until VERY tacky), did you fry up a small test piece to check for seasoning? If not, I highly recommend adding this step next time. It will really give you a good feel for if you have hit the right notes you are looking for, if the salt level is right, etc.

Let us know how the next round goes!

Thanks for sharing your experience. I’ve been wanting to try making sausage for a while but haven’t worked myself up for it. What did you use on these - a mixer attachment? Nice save on the pie and your Recent cooks have been off the chain

Tried making sausage for the first time. Just in case it is not up to my usual standard of the best in universe ever, I whipped up this awesome pie at same time using only my left toe.
