Filet with Sweet Perfection

My daughter asked if I would make some steaks with that sweet perfection seasoning I used the other day. I asked what sweet perfection seasoning? I come to understand that was the name her and her siblings had come up for the rub I used on the Flacken Style Ribs (and some chicken) last Friday. I had two filets that I knew would be perfect. I also got two chicken breast seasoned up.

Let the kettle and grates warm up for 20 plus minutes, lid thermometer reading over 550. Here is at the first flip.

Moved over to the indirect side. Veggies went over the heat, chicken also cooking up.

And pulled. I took the little one a touch longer for the others to share.

This was a good meal, but I liked the rub on the Flacken Style Ribs more then on the filet, but it was still good. My wife and kids really liked this rub on both the other filet and the chicken. Next steak cook I am craving a Carna Crosta crusted steak!
