Empanadas, Philly Cheeseteak Style

I guess that is what they are called. Started out sauteing some onion, sweet peppers and mushrooms in a CI skillet.


Grilled up some thinly cut steak that was marinated in some Worcestershire sauce and a tiny bit of Montreal Steak seasoning for about an hour.


Chopped up the steak and mixed it with the veggies. Rolled out some store bought pizza dough added the meat and veggies meat into the dough and added a piece of provolone cheese.


Rolled them up, and then put them on the grill to cook.




Served with a Caeser salad.


 
John, those look Crazy Good!:) Would love a couple of those right now for lunch. I will so be giving this a try real soon. Awesome pics as well, thanks for sharing!
 
Your empanadas idea is a good one. They look delicious! Looks like there is great potential
to change up the meats and fillings too. I have to try these soon.
