Afternoon folks..well at least for me.. Today I played hooky and stayed home..actually the boy was down and out and I figured I'd be at home at a non scheduled time anyway so I am making the best of it!! After I ran out of domestic sh*# to do (ya right) I decided to clean out the freezer!! Made some pork sausage from some old frozen pork steak and CSR's I discovered!

Chunked it up and ground up in the kitchen aide!!
Made up a seasoning mix of tyme, sage, S&P...little ground red pepper!
Added it in the mixture and reground it...couple patties for lunch and rolls for later useage!

I worked on the SJ a bit today so I though we would give it a whirl!! Windy and wet so I fired it up inside the performer(don't ask me why) seemed to be the right thing to do..maybe the Bloody Mary coming out!!

I always grind meat at home, I never use store-bought minced meat from the supermarket.
I like these your homemade burgers, as well as your son in the last picture.

Looks like a great day Morgan! Nice cooking and love that you are doing your own grind! I gotta get that KA attachment...

Amazon buddy!! The grinder is great!! Sausage stuffer takes a bit to get use to! It's slow going but it works...we actually eat a bunch of ground turkey but I have not tried to grind my own yet! Grinder makes quick work out of beef and pork!

Outstanding looking burger and you Son looks like he is really enjoying it too!!!! How can you be sick and have that big of a smile on your face anyway???

Beautiful looking burgers Morgan....just beautiful. I'm sure the boy wasn't ill from eating your food, maybe he just didn't want to go through school and have to eat a school lunch. If you boy is like my kids....their best burger was their last burger. Some nice Father - Son time, these are the time that you will both remember forever.
