Dinner From The Farmer's Market In Raleigh

Pammi went to a conference in Raleigh yesterday. I drove and kept the dog company while she was in the conference! :) We spent the night and wound up going to the big farmer's market there. WOW! It was really nice! We wound up buying a grass fed bone in rib eye and a little produce to go with it.

Thawed and simply seasoned with S & P. Just over a pound. Just enough for Pammi,me and the dog!

Brussels sprouts,cleaned and halved. Seasoned with,salt,pepper,red chili flakes and garlic olive oil. Folded into the foil and grilled next to the steak.

And an action shot of everything on the OTS. Red taters,par boiled and onto the grill to finish. Cooked over some lump I got at Sam's. Frontier,I think.

And,a plated shot. Cooked to a perfect medium. Pammi says this is the best steak she's ever had! It was absolutely amazing! One of the best I've ever cooked! Better than the ones we've been getting at Earth Fare! We may have to start seeing what's available at our farmer's market!
 
Plates and food looks great. You must have bought the meat in the small enclosed building by the baked goods lady:) We buy it from there too and luckily live within 20 minutes of the Farmers Market. Makes for some nice farm fresh fruits, veggies and meats in the spring,summer and fall.
