Don't laugh, I didn't want to heat up the kitchen so I figured I'd put the SmokeFire to work. Fridays are pizza night, either take out, home made, or frozen. Of all the different frozen pizza on the self Digiorno thin crust is the only one I like when I don't feel like cooking.
Another reason I wanted to make it on the SmokeFire was to see how it would compare to my LG convection oven. I followed the cooking instruction on the box. Preheated grill to 400 degrees and pizza was placed on a mesh pizza pan and baked for 20 minutes.
It was no contest, there was no added smoke flavor, but the crust turned out perfect, light and crispy. SmokFire for the win.
