I am lucky enough to be on vacation this week so when my daughter told me they needed chaperones for a science field trip to Yellowstone National Park I jumped on it. Kim was able to use a vacation day too so we both went. I thought some that live so far away might enjoy some springtime in Yellowstone pictures.

It was kind of chilly so you can't see the brilliant colors of Grand Prismatic that well

Great photos Robert! My family took a road trip there in about 1993, and I loved it. Your photo of the Old Faithful Lodge brought back instant memories. So many cool sights there! I really want to go back...

Thanks for sharing!

Tanks Robert! Nancy and I will be fishing there in September. Then it's off to the Tetons, Henry's Fork and the Bitterroot. You live in one of our favorite places. :)

Great photos Robert! I was there Memorial Day Weekend, 1988 which was significant as it burned up just a week or so later. It's been 27 years since the fire and you can still see the affect in your pictures. The lodge looks unchanged. Thanks for the stroll down memory lane :)

Lets hope that the "Super Volcano" below Yellowstone, behaves....

Beautiful. I was in Salt Lake City for a business trip back in '95 and we made a trip up to Yellowstone while we were there. It is a beautiful place with amazing sites to see. Thanks for sharing your photos.

Thanks for the pictures, they make me want to go back there again. And the Tetons park to the south as well. Both beautiful places.

Thanks for sharing. The Old Faithful Inn is one of the coolest pieces of architecture I've ever seen. Love that place. Oh yeah, and there's some natural beauty around there too. :p
