So tonight is the first night all summer when the CEO and I are not cooking for teen agers, our and others. and home from college types.
Picked up some choice NY Strip, nice thick ones.

I'd be a gate crasher too if I was close to that cook! Looks great! I call that a perfect date nite!
 
Ok is just me or do those gate crashers look like they would be pretty tasty on that grill? Great meal and setting for a nice quiet relaxing meal for 2.
 
Oh Bob, at least three, sometimes more of those gate crashers find their way into my freezer every year. My family grew up eating venison, pheasant, duck, chukar, grouse, turkey etc. all year long. Best eating in the world.
 
Nice meal. Nice wine. A night with the spouse. And some wildlife viewing to boot. Great all around.
