Curb Alert !!!

Does look like a pretty good specimen. However, I think they just sprayed the lid with water to dress it up. I am not an expert, but I don't think they made them shiny like that and usually they were a more flat or satin finish and a charcoal color.

Looks like he might have just transfered some Silver B parts over to an older Genesis 2 frame. The one thing I would like to see is if/how he modified the left hand side of the frame for the flip up table. Did he weld in a support bracket from a silver B or some other type of bracket? Or maybe the swing table just is there for show and won't actually stay up.

I am thinking you could probably use a genesis 1000 end cap bracket to hold the swing table instead of the full plastic handle. I can't say I have ever tried it, but it seems like it would work.

Yep, Samuel. Like that. I prefer the end handles with Thermoset tables however.

I like the thermoset too.

I mocked this up with a mashup of genny 1000 and Silver B parts.

The right side swing table needs two modifications to make it work. 1) the frame needs a catch to hold the swing table UP and 2) the bracket on the back of the table needs to be clearanced so it does not hit the burners which hang lower on a 1000 vs a Silver B.
