@Jim Weber I have Qulimetal grates new still in the box that fit both of those grills if you want them I'll sell them to you for $20. I think I paid about $40. Any other parts you need for them I'll give you. Not sure if I have igniter.

I get it. I've gotten pretty bad to the point that I only get excited by the prospect of finding a nice Platinum series 1200 grill. Once I have that grill I will pick up another Genesis 1000 for parts if necessary. I'm actually kind of surprised that you haven't found one by now in your area since you always seem to have really good luck .
