Curb Alert !!!

I think that might be a lot of people's reactions. However. the inside of the cabinet looks pretty good from what I can tell. If so, that is a rehabber's dream. It looks generally intact and just needs a good cleaning. By looking nasty, you would have a decent chance at getting it.
I would just ask the seller for good photo of the inside of the cabinet.

Yah, I love dirty grills like that. That is easy to remedy. Rust, not so much. But, if the guy just spent 15 minutes with a cleaner and rags, he could easily sell that for $100.
Me too. My only worry would be with a grill that is extremely dirty is that it's hiding some damage or rust so it may need a closer inspection.

Certainly. I would normally ask for a better photo of the inside of the cabinet, but people offering grills for free generally just want them gone and don't want to deal with the customer service part of the equation. Bottom line, it is free, so if the driving distance isn't too far, I would probably just jump on it and when I get it home, make a determination how to deal with it.
You are right. Dirt can hide rust pretty darn well.

I don't pick up those Genesis E310s anymore but I will still pick up an E330, EP330 or S330 if it is an exceptional shape. I already have a couple of them on standby for restoration/refresh. On the other hand I would pickup a E310 for donor parts if it was in exceptional shape. The Genesis special edition is kind of a cool badge too with upgraded stainless in the cook box. I believe that was only on the colored lid models. The SS lid already came with SS in the cookbox.

I have had several 330s and currently still have a couple. Great grills in my opinion

Special Edition Genesis EP 330
P stands for premium.
Colored lid e330s with SS parts in the cookbox.
