As you know Barb has been grilling up some good stuff recently. I decided I’d better get my game face on and do a little creative cookery myself.
Picked up some country style beef ribs in the DF section of the meat department and got creative.
Browned the ribs in the DO in a little oil salted and peppered as they browned and set aside, then the carrots, onions and garlic were browned. I added beef broth, tomato sauce and BBQ sauce and added the ribs back in.
Covered the DO and let it run at around 300-325 for three hours.
The ribs with the carrots and onions came out really well, very flavorful and tender, the gravy was excellent too.
Served with brown rice and Barbs homemade pasta salad.
It was a great meal and we will be doing it again.
