Costco brisket

The OP George mentioned Toronto meaning Canada. Prices are 1.5-2x the price of USA stores.
Are you sure? There are Toronto's in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Ohio, and South Dakota. :) (Even I didn't know that.) Seriously, I can see his IP address, he's definitely Canadian.

I was at a Costco in Toronto today and they were loading up some briskets. The voice in my head said " mmm brisket". My wife wanted homemade burgers. Quick peak at price, brisket was $4.54/lb, lean hamburger was...$4.08. You better believe were having brisket. I found a nice even 18.5 lbs baby. Can't wait till tomorrow! What are you paying for brisket?

So for our neighbors to the South that would be about $3.46 /lb USD.

I get my briskets from a butcher here in Edmonton and I may pay a tad more closer to $95-$100 for a 18.5 lb brisket. With all that's going on in the world these days I've noticed the price of meat has gone up some. My butcher is upfront is letting us know what's happening with meat prices.
