Cody's Corner of Random Rehabbing & Shenanigans

Had a beautiful Celebration of Life for my dad on Sunday, so that is behind me. Little by little, I'm getting thru it. Still lurk around here occasionally, and have been back to checking FB MP and CL for grills, but not acting on anything I have seen, yet.

Hoping this weekend's local bulk trash day will yield a curb find or two that can get me out of this Funk I have been in since losing my dad.

Hey Cody, when you can get around to it, I sent you a PM a while back right about the time you lost your dad but it wasn't known to the rest of us. (did not want to intrude further) it's a paint color matching question. No great shakes when you get to it you get to it. Again having just gone through the verry same thing in early April I get it. Wasn't unexpected he was almost 99 and in failing health. Thankfully he still had his marbles to the end.

Cody,
I will echo what Bruce said. I have been there, and it does take time. Things will never be fully the same, but you will heal🙏.

When I was little, my Dad used to take me places on Saturday mornings, a favorite was to go feed the ducks at one of the local ponds. I still get a little bittersweet sad when I hear that old song "Come Saturday Morning."

My sister and I collaborated on this photo frame to remind me of those Saturday mornings. She drew the illustration and did the calligraphy:
