Clothesline Bacon

I hate to admit it, but I want to try this. So Sad! lol

Sounds good to me!

I picked up my first artisianal pickles today, I got some hot italian dills - pretty good! I might try to ferment some

I don't get it. I mean, I get the recipe & it looks tasty... But there are easier ways to go about this. Is this all about playing with the food & "presentation"? 🤔😋

ya gotta admit, that clothesline bacon looks AWESOME!
If I ever go to NYC and stop at David Burke Tavern, i most likely would order it.
Even after looking at the menu and seeing the cost of it:

Clothesline Bacon
22

maple and black pepper glazed3 pieces – $22, 6 Pieces – $42, 9 pieces $64

I wonder why you can't just cook the bacon and drizzle a little grease over a Claussen spear?
Their method seems to be mostly for show.

I tried a bacon wrapped dill and did not care for it, the grilled pickle took on an over the top sour taste, but the bacon was good.

Absolutely! The entire presentation is why people (fools) like me would pay 22 bucks for it.
Hey, thru my years with dough in my pocket, I've wasted $22 in worse ways....
