The harder 9+ will wear longer on steel or stainless. Work well to blend out scratches from grinding or wire wheel work

Removed the air/fuel cover. Slipped a bolt through the hole w/ a nut to secure, then reattached the assembly. Presto, you've got a little jig for your drill and you can slip it on any other future tube.
You arent afraid of damaging the cover like that ?
It was just rattle can. I did this and a couple others for our non-profit organizations' Thrift Store in Florida. When a promising tool would get donated, I would try to take them home and make them saleable! I did a Spirit grill that way for them once, too.Nice Jon! Are you painting them with anything special or just rattle can ?
Ok got this old school bench grinder for 25 bucks. This thing is prob from the 60's
Looks great!
What kind of paint did you use on that Danny?
Almost done. Its not perfect but its gonna get beat up anyway...
That thing looks sweet. I'm jealous!! I definitely need to get oneOk im ready to polish some burner tubes ... just need some fresh wheels and some replacement plexi for the eye guards

I'll definitely have to keep my eye out for oneGot it for 25 bucks
You should be able to find one by you for cheap
It was super easy to take apart and refurb.
Got it all together and oiled and its working like new.
I could definitely use one as well, and not just for grill stuff. I sharpen my lawnmower blade with my angle grinder, but a bench grinder would be better.I'll definitely have to keep my eye out for one
