Chile Lemon (out of lime) Shrimp

So, the last grill session of the holiday weekend was some chile/lemon shrimp.

Soy, olive oil, lemon juice, brown sugar, garlic, chile powder, red pepper flake and a dash of tequila for the marinade....

Shrimps all skewered up:

Plated with some simple steamed broccoli, and homemade sourdough bread:

This meal went hot and fast on the Genesis, and the flavor on the shrimp was right on (especially the little kick when those chili flakes hit!!)

PS: Lest you think otherwise, I have a strong grasp of what this day is all about......it is because of the sacrifice of the many who have served in our nation's armed forces, and given the ultimate sacrifice, that we may all freely debate which charcoal or rub to use. You are quite right, Chuck, but after my 3rd Racer Five IPA it didn't seem to matter. 😎
