chicken Fajita Pitas

TVWBB 1-Star Olympian
Seasoned a couple of BSCB with Mrs. Dash Southwest Seasoning. Coked them indirect than moved to direct to get a little color on them. Pulled the chicken at degrees internal.


Chicken resting while I sauteed 2 red, 2 green bell peppers and one honking big sweet onion.


Diced up the chicken and added to the vegetables and let them cook together indirect and get to know each other. Nobody was home to eat when it was done so I only filled one pita with the mixture and a slice of Coby Jack Cheese which you can't see


Plated. The pitas looked a little naked so I added a little mild cheddar on top. Served with some leftover red beans, no rice and some sauteed veggies I made in my trusty wok.


I forgot I had this dressing but remembered after I took my plated pic. Used it as a dipping sauce. First time trying it, its fantastic!!!
 
Fine looking pita's John & both the seasoning + dressing are darn good, Same with the HV chipolte spread.
 
Thats just an awesome meal. Like the way you roasted and melted the cheese direct on the grill. Would love a Pita like that right now
 
Great looking cook John! The doc has me on a salt restricted diet so Mrs Dash is a staple here, how do like the the Southwest Seasoning?
