Chick on a Stick

R.I.P. 3/31/2022
I was cooking while our son was mowing for the first time in about 2 weeks.
Almost no rain here for a month, so very little grass growing took place.
(wish I could have had tunes and earphones back when I had to mow

Simple chicken spiedini cook, with few pics.
Cut chicken breasts were marinated in Italian dressing for 2 hrs.
Rolled in a mix of Panko crumbs with grated Parm cheese from a green can.

Grilled indirect on skewers until 165 internal.

Melted butter with minced garlic spooned over the chicken, with a squeeze of lemon.
Side of packaged creamy garlic pasta shells, jazzed up with marinated 'choke hearts, and cherry tomatoes.

Quick cook, but not lacking in flavor.

Thanks for the visit, have a great week!

Looks like a great dinner to me my friend.

Thanks guys!

Brad,
I'm afraid the crumbs and cheese might burn.
These browned up indirect, with one char basket of Kingsford on the side.
I did rotate and move them closer and away from the heat.

Again these your Panko things, Bob. You are send me to the knee again. It looks absolutely fantastic. I'd mowed your garden from morning to evening for this
