Camping alaska style!

Though I'd post a few pics of our camping trip last weekend...we rented this cabin about 50 miles north of town...

Only way in is by boat or plan...we took the boat!

Beautiful place ...lots to eat and drink! Kids had a ball...we put them to work right away!

My daughter and a Dollie Varden. (Sea run trout)

Another shot of the cabin!! Nice little place...heated with a drip oil stove..6 bunks..

Couple shots of my cooking set up..next time I'm bringing the smoky joe..but I did use weber racks!!

Burgers and dogs!

Lots of cooking went on...I made my best chicken and dumplings in the Dutch oven ever..pics ran short since my stupid phone was on the fritz...here was a pic from the deck. Had great evening sun!

Thanks for looking...we'll be doing this again soon! Too much fun..took me a week to recover!

Tim we are past the king run...few stragglers...mostly humpies and dogs right now..we have been concentrating on halibut and crab this year!
