I've written about Firestone Grill in San Luis Obispo in the past and had a chance to visit the location in Bakersfield just off Hwy 99. Same great tri-tip sammies, same irresistible fries, and same great sports bar atmosphere. Went on a Saturday night and the place was hoppin’!

Good looking sandwich, but a crime to have that beautiful Jambo just sitting there. I grew up in the five cities and have been at the one in San Luis many times. Always a good meal.

Wow! Nice to see they are not skimping on their beef. That’s a full sandwich!
The bun looks a little different though…is it the same as in SLO?
