Cajun Bandit Questions

Hi All Just got my Cajun Bandit Rotisserie for my 22" WSM. I got a few questions.
1.Do I have cover/close up the holes for the extra motor mount?The CB is suppose to be leak proof.
2. Retainer Bushing. Large part goes inside the ring and small part sits on the ring so the spit can rotate?

only thing I know that requires AND comes with batteries are remotes for televisions

You could, if you want. I'd recommend getting some high-temp foil tape like this. I've never bothered and never had issues, although I've only used it on my Performer. On the WSM, the extra "exhaust" flow might require that you close the lower vent(s) or even the lid vent down a bit, but it's probably negligible.

Usually rotisserie cooking is high temp, so the holes & slots are not really an issue.
If you need to cover the extra holes & slots, you can stuff them with aluminum foil.
Cheap, EZ & easily removed - no adhesive residue to clean off.

Hi All Just did my 1st Roti cook, boy it cooked fast.. Baby Backs done 2 hrs, came out a little dry. Butt was just OK.
