That's an 1.2" bigger blade than the one I bought from Cabelas. I paid $89 for mine and would pay $109 for that bigger blade

You *can* do it with a little bend. If you want the slab to be completely flat on the carriage, I'd cut the slab in half. I did both.

It arrived yesterday. Sliced 4 lbs of bacon. As mentioned, it won't hold a full slab. No biggie. So far, I really like it.

Well... I didn't get hurt too bad on the deal. Amazon charges sales tax, so I would have paid $108.26 for it.
