Way more than homes around here. Though all the weirdness in the markets have blown our local housing market outta the water in costs. They're absolutely crazy here. Where we're seeing really "blue collar" type homes selling in prices at 75k to 100k OVER what they were selling for just 5 years ago. So in places you could get a modest little step up ranch, for well under $100k now $140-175. IMO that is nuts, and I am seeing an absolute "crash" coming. Because it's a pricing structure this area cannot maintainNo rich & famous here. If you go 25 miles West, that's a $2M home. If you go 25 miles South, that's a $1M+ home. If you go 25 miles East, that's a $500K home, and if you go 25 miles North, it's the same price as mine, but if you went North West, it's a $3M home
I'm just middle ground, LOL
I wish you luck !Extremely good open house weekend. Realtor is expecting offers. Wish me luck

Nope, usually payment is due by the 14th. I’ll call you to explain. I just went through this on my sale.Got a couple offers, I countered both. Going to get more than asked, now my concern is to close by 10/31/24 or earlier. If I still own it come 11/01/24 I gotta shell out $5.5K in payment on the two houses
It's all coming together
Agreed, I could push it out to the end of the grace period, and that’s not out of the question. But pressuring the buyers for a fast close is more ideal, lolNope, usually payment is due by the 14th. I’ll call you to explain. I just went through this on my sale.
It's a double-edged sword. As values go up, so do insurance costs. Many insurance companies are pulling out of CA, FL, and other states, leading to higher rates. I just got a non-renewal from my insurance carrier who is leaving CA after almost 25 years with them and no claims. Looks like I'll be needing one of those Flo by Moen water devices, like it or not, but at least my new carrier has secured a fairly low cost installation package with a 5-year warranty.I'm new here. Good on you for getting over asking.
My summer home is worth twice that though. I'm not selling.
Larry, you want to talk about ridiculous home prices? Check this listing out from my town, no basement and one car garage.Way more than homes around here.
