Butter Garlic Pasta with Smoked Chicken and Lotus Float

This has been one of my favorite dishes recently. Pretty basic, but damn good.

Chicken breasts on the Jumbo Joe. Apple wood for flavor. A little full, yes. :)

Prepared the pasta. Garlic, shallots, butter, Italian seasoning, sweet bell peppers, zucchini, baby broccoli leaves, and fresh Italian basil.

Chicken ready to go in. Cooked indirect till about 130-140, then over the coals to finish.

And this thing, a Lotus Float. Simple syrup, water, and lotus root. Slightly frozen.
