brisket tacos

If you've never taken a few cuts of leftover brisket, added taco seasoning (from a package or home made), a cpl tortillas and some fixins for brisket tacos you are missing out. I like to braise the slices, pull them into very small pieces and dinner is served.

I like mine simple - cheese and taco sauce...but the wife likes onions, tomatoes, lettuce, taco sauce, etc.

Can't say that I have, but I can say that after seeing this post, I certainly will be giving it a try!

What a great thought! And I happen to have some leftover shredded brisket in the fridge that I was going to make into a sandwich for lunch. But that's what I had for dinner last evening. Tacos sounds MUCH better. So I'll implement this in about an hour -- if I can wait that long.

Sorry for quoting myself, but I wanted to say, not thanks for the idea, but thanks for the fantastic tacos I had for lunch yesterday! Brilliant, Dwain!

But now I have a problem -- no more brisket. But I bet you guys can help with a solution... Hey! What do I need you guys for -- there's another 14 lb brisket in my freezer. TA DA!!
