Brining turkey breast?

I assume a turkey breast would need brining just like a whole turkey before smoking? Is this true?

Thanks

Depends on your tastes. The turkey breast's that I get from the store are already enhanced, and some can be more saltier than others.

Preferring white meat to dark meat, the last few Thanksgivings I have smoked two whole, bone-in turkey breasts using the honey brine from the cooking topics page: http://www.virtualweberbullet.com/turkey2.html

The brine recipe is enough for two whole breasts. It has come out great each time and it is my favorite way to do turkey. I usually try to find a natural bird (without a solution) but have used some of the lower percentage solutions (5%), which came out great too.

Good luck.
