Not Weber. But hey you all like to look at good food.

This is the 18” Gabby Grill on my SoloStove Bonfire.
No better way to break in a Santa Maria grill than with a Tri tip.

Made gnocchi to go with the Tri tip. It’s pretty simple to make. This is the recipe I use.you can add seasonings as desired.

That's a killer looking meal - we had a similar line up for dinner tonight. Tri-Tip w/mushroom polenta and asparagus. Tri-Tip is one of my "house specialties" but I've never tried the gnocchi before.

Tri tip is a favorite here. I haven’t made gnocchi before. It’s simple. the rolling on the fork is a bit time consuming and if you look close at the sheet pan you’ll see some aren’t. The little pillows taste just the same.
I didn’t season the dough. Next batch I will.

Love the new grill! And the tri-tip! And the gnocchi!
Thank you! We’ll be experimenting more with gnocchi. Next batch gets some seasoning on the dough.
I’m sure I’ll be experimenting with the grill too.

That is a killer meal Case and a killer set up!!! I have to try to make that gnocchi.
Thank you. That recipe above is easy to do. The hardest part is pressing the taters through the sieve. A potato ricer would work too. A blender or food processor is a big no. Turns the starch to glue.

Next batch gets seasoning and I’ll probably just cut the rolls into small pillows instead of shaping them with the fork. Which there are good videos on you tube showing the technique.

I think these little guys would make great dumplings to go in chicken soup or beef stew.
