Been a Long Long Time Since I made These

Haven’t made these in years, Hot Pickled Eggs, so I thought I’d bring back the good old days and make a batch.
The ingredients are shown except for the 12oz jar of hot yellow peppers and juice.
In about two weeks they will be a deep purple color and ready to eat.
A shot of JD and a few beers with a couple of eggs and I’m good to go!
Barb said it really nice we have two patios one in the front and one in the back, because I can pick whichever one I want to sleep on if I eat even one.
I’m not sure but I think she is trying to tell me something here, oh well.

Poor Barb, I wonder if pickled eggs are like garlic, if you both eat it will either of you be able to tell?
 
I'm going to keep my eyes to the west of me. I'll be watching for clouds...I've heard that toxic gas can form it's own weather system... :D
 
Not my thing ever since as a young fella was in a camp with a bunch of guys who feasted on them at dinner time. Enjoy yours and be kind to others :)

I make pickled sausages that SWMBO hates. LOL. I love em! ...so I can smell what you're steppin in. LOL. Tread lightly my friend!
 
Ok guys, just to let you know I enjoy them also. We use to have lots of fun at our Christmas parties in Cal. because Rich would have a Big jar on the counter. Everyone wanted to know what that was, we told them and said to try it! Some did others said no thanks, but we did get some interesting remarks!!!! Some were from the wifes !!! You can guess. Have a great rest of the week.
 
Thanks for the memories, Rich: about 15 years ago we had chickens, pickling was one way to use the excess eggs. My son loved 'em. What do the hieroglyphics on the egg carton mean?
