Beef Short ribs

My dad wanted me to try and smoke some beef short ribs. Being in Arkansas I've never had them and they are super hard to find at the grocery store. I travel to TX every week for work (for about 2 years now) and have come to love the simple brisket style and basic salt and pepper. So, I found some short ribs (4 bone) at the butcher and proceeded to add salt and pepper (fresh ground) and smoke them at 285* until tender.... Turned out great and the family was impressed. My mom in from San Antonio and loved them.

No glue. just heavy on the black pepper. 6 hour cook and I forgot to mention I used post oak as my smoke wood.

I love beef short ribs but havent tried them on the WSM yet. These ribs look awesome!!!!! What temperature do you cook them at?
