Bacon Andouille Dog & Return Of the Banana Boat!

And now we return to the scene of my former banana boat mishap.

Bacon wrapped dog.

Got to like that Kingsford blue bag.
She locked in at 400 with only one 3/4 char-basket full.

Boat on with a little support this time.

dog done.

Loaded up with tomatoes, cheese, and a few 'penos on top.

No ice cream this time, just a dollop of Cool Whip.

I'm really enjoying this diet......
that Jo Anne is on, it let's me cook cook stuff just for me!

that nanner looks great...that's the first one I've seen done on a grill that doesn't look like a charred up melted mess...how long did you keep it on there for and at what temp

The grill was running 400.
Didn't time the boat cook, just go indirect until the peel is pretty black.

Looks like some BNA left behind! Here it is Bob, a little after 8:00 am, and I'm craving a hot dog and a banana boat. That is about the most beautiful dog I've seen in a long time.
