Anyone ever used avacado wood?

Unfortunately I have to cut down my avacado tree. I was wondering if anyone had ever smoked with avacado wood? I've googled it and the responses seem varied. I figure at worst I could use it when I get the kettle pizza (time tbd)!

Avocado, Carrotwood, Madrone, Manzanita, Hackberry, and willow. The ornamental varieties of fruit trees such as Bradford and Cleveland pear, double blossom cherry, crabapple, etc., are also suitable for smoking, and very much akin to their non ornamental flavors of apple, cherry or pear woods.

Haven't used it but where I get my smoking wood at the Woodshed in Orange, California they sell it.

interesting. can't hurt to try it I guess. I doubt it's toxic.

I've use it twice. The problem I found was it likes to burn at hot temp. For smoking it gave off a bidder smell. For roasting a few birds it did find.
