In the time it takes to clean that thing, I would have the membrane off I'd guess there are plenty of folks out there that would find it useful though.
I read somewhere that a pair of "skinning pliers" that fishermen use works well, but I've never tried it. I've always just used a paper towel to grip the silver skin.
I watched the video. No advantage over a paper towel once you get it started and I do not have to clean the paper towel. Now, if they make a tool for pork tenderloin, I might be interested.
