...another Pizza thread

I tried another dough recipe today for lunch. I got this one from the book "Grill This Not That". I only made one pie because I used 1/2 the dough for some Olive Garden Bread Stick clones for later this evening.

I topped it with Olive Oil, BBB, Moz Cheese, 1/2 Olives, and San Marzano Tomatoes.

Nice crisp crust but not much oven spring on this one. Overall not bad at all.

Served with MaiBock. Cheers!

As always Dwain, your pizzas look amazing. You know.....With your setup, I think you can skip putting the cornmeal on your stone. I bet you don't/won't have any sticking issues

Your right I don't have a problem once on the stone....but I don't use the Semolina for the stone - it's because I don't have a peel. I use a pastry mat. LOL

Get a peel!! (using the voice for saying "get a job") :)
Target, Kmart, Walmart, heck even Home Depot, all have them for < $10

I know you're a Pizza perfectionist, so I'm just gonna say.....that cornmeal is robbing your pizzas of flavor, having said that...I bet you have a new peel by tomorrow :)

Can't have too many pizza posts Dwain. Yours looks terrific! The only sticking problem I've encountered is not on the stone, it's getting the pizza off the peel without all the toppings ending up down in the charcoal. I have used cornmeal but use Semolina now.

It's not just another pizza thread! Pizza looks real delicious! Nice thin crust! I was on Amazon Germany trying to get more info on that Weber Pizza Kettle but didn't have d patience for Google translator. When I have time ,will try again.

I love your pizza posts, Dwain! Quoting Greg B, I need help too! Someone on this site has to have the ability to buy a skid of these and sell them to the forum members!? Until then, I'm jealous of your rig. Keep them pizzas comin...
