Another Marketplace Score!

We were at a Target a couple months ago and they had a Weber Traveller grill on clearance for $169. Don’t ask me why, but I didn’t grab it
And I didn’t win the one that was offered on here, but that’s ok too
There were a couple places that had burn bans in place, so I couldn’t fire up the JJ. I told Pammi that we needed to get a gas grill for these situations
We’re back in the Charlotte area this week and she started poking around on the Marketplace. She found a Weber Q grill, stand, cover and apron, ALL new and in the box! A $450 value for $200! We offered $150 and he agreed to meet us in the middle for $175! SCORE!!!!
Got back late from getting the camper worked on today and I’ve got to get it 45 miles up the road tomorrow for more work on it, so it’ll be a couple days before I get to break it in

I finally got a chance to assemble the new grill and stand! First cook tomorrow! Got a nice piece of salmon and a steak for Sunday!

Got a couple cooks done on the Q

First, a nice piece of salmon from Whole Foods (I was there returning something to Amazon). Simple salt and pepper. It cooked up quickly and very nicely!
We also got a nice bone in ribeye! We were in Dodge City for a few nights last month and had an okay steak. And my BIL in Texarkana cooked a pretty good steak
This was the best steak we’d had in a long while! 4-5 minutes a side and it was beautiful! Even the pups got a bite!

Those are awesome little grills, we bought one for the same reason and liked it so much we got it's big brother 3200 for our week night grill, my old 120 was looking a little worse for the wear after hauling it around camping so I cleaned it up and put a fresh coat of blue lip stick on the lid and took it with us on our week long fishing trip to Minnesota this year.
