Really! amazing. Pieto means breast in Portuguese, of any animal. As to a full brisket, to quote the local and regional Talho, that means butchery "Portuguese don't eat that meat." The regional BBQ restaurant, not a churrasqueria, thats what we call an open charcoal grill, they have great difficulty in obtaining briskets and have only succeeded in obtaining the from Ireland and then only the flat.

That's right, the brisket cut comes from the breast of the animal.
Outside of the US, the typical US brisket cut is not that popular, even here in the UK. It's mainly a US BBQ thing, but can be found from a few butchers who carry traditional US BBQ cuts, (here in UK).
