After grilling (or smokin')....

do you also say "Good Night" or "Thank You For A Job Well Done" or anything to your grills?

Or am I the only one that does?

I put their blankies (covers) on...if the coals are out, and I leave the light on for them

I agree with what your sister would say if she read this. :p

No, but I usually do go back to see if I left anything out & check the vents. She gets a pat on the lid as I head back in.

I don't say anything unless the grill screwed up my cook, it's always the grills fault. But I reward a good cook with a thorough cleaning the next morning when its cool and cover it up.

I don't usually strike up a conversation with my grills, if I do the conversation is usually one sided. :)

I named my kettle Don, after my late father in law. It was given to me after he passed away. When I get ready to do some chicken on it I say "Hey Don, ready to burn some chicken?" That was his specialty.
