Were you ever able to identify the part numbers needed for your restoration? I have this exact grill and am in the middle of my restoration. So started to make some progress, looks like will only need to purchase tubes and full switch kit. And with about 20 hours of work and help from local high school metal shop (flavor bars and front box panel) will be all in for about $320 total. Including the $50 i paid for it. Sorry to disappoint the people that said it was going to be money pit.
Finding a SUMMIT PLATINUM logo plate might be a challenge, but you should be able to use a regular old style Weber one.Merry Christmas to me, but the cheap stamped logo has to go.
I have the original, I just need to switch out.Finding a SUMMIT PLATINUM logo plate might be a challenge, but you should be able to use a regular old style Weber one.

How did your resto work out? I would be interested in seeing your results.
