A Weber going away present!

A friend of mine is pretty handy with woodworking and offered to make me some replacement handles for my grill rehabs. He said he was a little disappointed in how they came out, but I am VERY happy. Three are poplar which is a clear wood that should work well for original type cedar slats. The other three are red oak, because I always wanted to make an oak handle to use with oak slats. Now I can do three!

Yah, couldn't come up with a much better present for a rehabber. Those are nice and tough to come by.
 
Those are really nice. And you know that the artists themselves are always the most critical because they see the flaws no one else sees. 😂
They are too good to go in a flipper grill. You might get more selling them individually. Like the guy on FB who makes wood handles for kettles.
 
Boy. Those are beautiful. I wish had those skills - struggling with a split handle on a 3000, wondering if gorilla glue can hold it together.
