A Simple Sirloin

Wednesday night we celebrated Liz' dad's 88th birthday at a local joint called Joey Gerard's
There, I had one of their specialty drinks, Joey's Martini.
It was soo good, I bought the ingredients (sans the orange peel) yesterday to make my own at home.

...and it was just as good here as it was there
Picked up this steak from the grocer, dumped some Lea & Perrins® with EVOO on it then seasoned it with S&P

added 'shrooms with minced gaaaaalic

the sirloin is sizzlin'

took it off the flames to rest a bit...

oh yeah, made some hot crash taters inside...

Then served up with those green trees George hates.

And a big can of the High Life

The sirloin was just ok, nothing special. Everything else was nice.
