Sometimes my rumbling stomach gives me the best ideas

Half a loaf of garlic French bread, about 1/3# ground chuck sprinkled liberally on both sides with garlic powder & fresh ground black pepper.

Lots of ketchup - I didn't want to do too much to it this time

I gave each loaf a squeeze in the bag - the top ones were obviously oldest (crunchy). I cut the loaf in half and really didn't open it on the grill for long, it was wrapped tightly in foil. I didn't exactly plan a side but a couple slices of pineapple did just fine.

Thanks guys. There's a good meat market that Jason Noble has pointed me at a few times - they have interesting cuts like you just put up Russ... it'll probably take a few more years (and many mistakes) before I can pull that off. (sorry to hear about your mom)

wish I could take full credit - there was a place called Sliders (a Mexican restaurant has taken it's place) where I ordered something similar many years ago..... this was more manageable than theirs. It might be kind of fun for the family, or maybe not, to do a great big burger and slice everyone off a slice.. I think it'd be pretty easy to do 4 good burgers from one loaf but you'd better plan on some sides. There are also a couple of places that do really good garlic burgers here that I was trying to recreate (The Cotton Bottom & The Busy Bee)

I would be wanting a burger after gettin' myself up that 'hill'! My tongue would be hangin' like Sparkys, too.

Looks good Clint. What an unbelievable non-winter we've had.

I know ---- we were working down south today & I noticed the snow line was about half of what it was a couple years ago when I skied Lone Peak in May....

Last Saturday I realized the ski season had peaked @ Snowbird---- long story but I wound up with a Ten-2-Share pass from Snowbird (along with a regular season) and I'll feel silly anytime I see it if there are any unused ski days on it so I'm taking a friend up on Saturday for his birthday, & my cousin on Sunday, took a friend up last Sunday----gotta burn these last 5 off real quick.

I think I shoveled the driveway only 4-5 times this year...
