9.5MM Grill Grates for Weber Spirit 300


 
I feel the same, Larry. I suppose, though, you could reverse them and try to cook around the support cross bars.
They are different for sure, they have a blasted finish as opposed to shiny shiny of the regular 9mm/7mm offerings from QM.

This may make them more challenging to keep clean too. Price a bit rich to splurge on just yet!! 😂
 
<scratches head> I don't get the attraction of the triangular cross section, nor the sand blasted finish.

I made SS304 3/8" round stock grates (about 9.5 mm) and love the death out of them. I have a set of 1/4" (6.3 mm) grates ready to go down to Chicago for a friends grill. I don't think I'll ever go back to cast iron grates.

I think tightly spaced 1/4” SS Rod grates would be awesome.

That was what I was wondering because the Rod would obviously have more material than the triangle shape.
