Anyone have any experience of this bad boy?
They are different for sure, they have a blasted finish as opposed to shiny shiny of the regular 9mm/7mm offerings from QM.I feel the same, Larry. I suppose, though, you could reverse them and try to cook around the support cross bars.
I have my fingers crossed for prime days! They are different for sure, they have a blasted finish as opposed to shiny shiny of the regular 9mm/7mm offerings from QM.
This may make them more challenging to keep clean too. Price a bit rich to splurge on just yet!!![]()
My wife has gotten to the point where she doesn’t question random grill part purchases. But I think that dollar amount would throw a red flagFor what they are price seems awfully reasonable IMO
So you like "slapping on a 10mm instead of a 9mm?"I still have a set of these from a couple years ago. However they were not from Qulimetal. They were Blackhoso brand. I had bought several of them but I only have one set left. I am not sure why more people didn't jump on them at the time as they were under $50 a set. I wish I had bought 20 sets.

lighter than the 9mm interestingly
I think tightly spaced 1/4” SS Rod grates would be awesome.<scratches head> I don't get the attraction of the triangular cross section, nor the sand blasted finish.
I made SS304 3/8" round stock grates (about 9.5 mm) and love the death out of them. I have a set of 1/4" (6.3 mm) grates ready to go down to Chicago for a friends grill. I don't think I'll ever go back to cast iron grates.
That was what I was wondering because the Rod would obviously have more material than the triangle shape.lighter than the 9mm interestingly
Because the old versions were actually 3/8" rods9930 grates are 9.53mm
